  • Cinnamon powder to taste
  • Agave or Cabuya honey to taste

For the crispy:

  • ½ cup oatmeal (pulverize oatmeal in blender or food processor)
  • 1 cup oat flakes
  • 4 tablespoons of panela
  • 4 tablespoons of melted coconut oil
  • ½ teaspoon stevia

Preparation:

For the filling, you must peel the apples and remove the centre, then cut them into thin segments or cubes.

Place the apples inside a mould suitable for the oven and add the lemon juice, the cinnamon powder to taste and the honey of your choice.

For the crispy mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and then add the melted coconut oil, mix until it forms small lumps with the dough.

Then, place the crispy dough on top of the apples with cinnamon and take it to the preheated oven for 30 minutes (or until you see that the dough is golden) at 180°C.

Once ready, let it cool a bit so you can cut it. You can accompany it with chopped fresh fruit or with a light red fruit sauce.
